The Great New Year’s Bake Off (Channel 4, 7.40pm)
Noel Fielding, Sandi Toksvig, Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood are reunited in the tent. Joining them are Kate Henry from the 2014 series, Dr Tamal Ray from 2015, 2016 winner Candice Brown, and finalist Steven Carter-Bailey from 2017. All hope to impress the judges with their skills and take home the title of Festive Star Baker. Music is provided by the London Gay Men’s Chorus.
The Inbetweeners: Fwends Reunited (Channel 4, 9.00pm)
Cast members Simon Bird (Will), Joe Thomas (Simon), James Buckley (Jay) and Blake Harrison (Neil) reunite for a celebration of the sitcom, which made its debut on E4 in May 2008 and went on to become one of the most popular and successful British comedies of recent years. The programme promises behind-the-scenes footage from filming, the story behind the show, surprise guests, celebrity fans and plenty of embarrassing stories. The show will also be honouring the funniest moments across the three TV series and two films in the coveted Inbetweeners Awards.

The release date for the 80s-set season three has been revealed, as well as a lil’ teaser trailer. Dun dun dunnnnnnnnn!
The Boss (RTÉ One, 9.30pm) A disgraced entrepreneur attempts to launch a comeback with the reluctant help of her former PA. Comedy, starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Bell and Peter Dinklage.
Edge of Tomorrow (Virgin Media One, 10.00pm) An inexperienced military officer is sent to the front line in a war against an alien invasion, and dies within minutes. However, at the point of death, he is transported back in time to relive his last day again. Starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt.
Moulin Rouge! (TG4, 9.05pm) An idealistic writer drawn to the decadent backstreets of Paris falls for a courtesan from the famous Moulin Rouge. Starring Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman.
