Living With Lucy (Tv3, 10.00pm)
One of several new series kicking off tonight, Lucy Kennedy travels to Co. Clare to live with Wexford hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald, and his partner Sharon and son. She arrives at a time when Davy is serving an eight-week ban following an altercation with Tipperary players in the Hurling League semi-final. Expect him to spill all on the online abuse he and his team are subjected to.
Mr Mercedes (RTÉ One, 10.15pm)
Brendan Gleeson takes centre stage in this new US drama based on the best-selling book series by Stephen King. The Gleeson patriarch plays a former a homicide detective called Bill Hodges who is still haunted by a case he never solved, a massacre that left 16 people dead when a killer drove a stolen car into a crowd. When the psychopathic culprit begins to torment Hodges, he is compelled to revisit the case. Going by the rave reviews over Stateside, this is going to be huge.
Bridget & Eamon (RTÉ Two, 9.30pm)
The third series of the IFTA-award winning comedy kicks off tonight. Bridget’s mother – played by the one and only Deirdre O’Kane – has a new young foreign boyfriend and Bridget is going to lose her inheritance unless she can break them up.
Everyone's talking about: A massive plot hole in Eastenders?
(Spoilers to follow, just FYI).
Fans of the long-running soap are convinced that the wrong episode was aired last night.
The confusion came in part due to Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) being show out of hospital and on his feet again, after he was diagnosed with a genetic heart condition and rushed into emergency surgery in Friday's episode.
In a role reversal, it was actually Kush at Carmel's (Bonnie Langford) bedside in the hospital on Monday, raising some questions among fans as to whether they'd missed an episode explaining what had happened to both Kush and Carmel. They didn't.

After Kush was diagnosed with Brugada syndrome, Carmel discovered she'd need surgery too because she was also a carrier of the heart condition. As for why Kush was looking fit as a fiddle, the British Heart Foundation notes that many patients who undergo pacemaker/ICD surgery are generally in the hospital just overnight.
