What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Saturday Night with Miriam (RTE 1, 9.55 pm)

Miriam welcomes Samantha Mumba on to the couch to chat about how she’s getting on with her career and motherhood, and what it’s like being back in Ireland. Miriam will also be joined by Corrie actress Beverly Callard – Liz McDonald to you and me - who will be reminiscing about her old friend Anne Kirkbride who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Take Me Out (TV3, 5.55pm)

Paddy McGuinness returns for a new series of the most mortifying dating show on TV – and it’s impossible to turn away from. Who will be presenting themselves for judgement this week, and what “talents” will they have to perform in front of millions of people?

I Love You, Man (RTE 2, 10.10pm)

Paul Rudd, Jason Segal and Rashida Jones excel in this easy but smart comedy about bromance, marriage and everything in between.

Everyone is talking about… Graham Norton supporting the BBC

His impassioned plea to save the broadcaster, in an interview with The Telegraph, is all anyone can talk about today:

He has been one the most high profile presenters to speak out on the issue

Or switch over for…

27 Dresses (RTE 1, 11.05PM) Katherine Heigl is always the bridesmaid, never the bride etc.

David Bowie: Five Years (BBC Four, 10.40pm) An intimate, detailed documentary that followed Bowie for five years airs tonight on BBC Four.

Meet The Parents (BBC Three, 9PM) Relive this epic Ben Stiller and Robert DeNiro comedy tonight. It never gets old.
