What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday
DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Eurovision Song Contest (RTÉ 2, 8.00pm)
It’s finally here! The first semi-final of Eurovision 2018 takes place in Lisbon tonight with Ireland looking for a place in the grand final on Saturday. Ryan O’Shaughnessy will be flying the flag with ‘Together’ but he will be up against it as he competes against the likes of Finland, Israel and Austria. Good luck Ryan!
The Secret Life of 5 Year Olds (Channel 4, 8.00pm)
As we all know, kids are absolutely adorable and anyone who has seen this show before knows how good it is. In the first of this 2 part programme looks at how 5 year olds learn the difference between right and wrong. You know you want to know what 5 years old think about cheating and Donald Trump.
Later Live – With Jools Holland (BBC 2, 10pm)
Jools is back with a new series of live music. First up is Snow Patrol who after a long hiatus are back with their seventh studio album. They’ll perform some of their new tracks on the show along with Wildness South and Bettye Lavette.
Everyone’s talking about: A new series of the Inbetweeners.
The Inbetweeners was a gift to all of us with 3 series and 2 movies of unbridled chaos and never ending jokes about farting. Over the weekend James Buckley who played our favourite bullshitter Jay tweeted a picture of the lads having a ‘series 4 preproduction meal’.
People got very excited but we assume that James much like his old character was winding us up as the lads have previously said that a new series would be unlikely as they’re all too old and they wouldn’t do it without creators Ian Morris and Damon Beesley. We’re off to cry into a packet of ham.
Or flick over for…
