Patrick Melrose (Sky Atlantic, 9.00pm)

Drama based on the novels by Edward St Aubyn, following the life of witty and wealthy aristocrat Patrick Melrose, as he attempts to recover from a severe drug addiction he developed as a way to deal with memories of a deeply traumatic childhood. In the first episode, hearing the news that his father has passed away, Patrick travels to New York to collect his remains. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch.

Meet The Parents (3e, 7.00pm)

Dating show, hosted by Holly Willoughby, which puts the love lives of singletons in the hands of the people they know best – their mum and dad. Each week, one man and one woman must choose from three potential partners, with their decisions solely based on an encounter with the contestants’ parents.

Realta Agus Gaolta (TG4, 8.30pm)

New series. A new series searching for Ireland’s most talented family, with judges Ronan O Snodaigh, Aoife Scott and Sinead Ni Uallachain. Presented by Sile Seoige.
