DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
My Trans Life (RTÉ 2, 9.30)
Over the course of two years, a documentary film crew followed five young Irish transgender people as they transition. My Trans Life gives a compelling insight into their respective journeys.
The Tower: A Year On – Tonight (UTV, 7.30pm)
It’s been almost a year since the Grenfell tragedy, and this documentary seeks to tell the story of a night in June which will be etched in public memory for years to come. Eyewitnesses reflect on the past and look hopefully to the future.
Twin Towers: The Missing Evidence (3e, 12am)
Conspiracy theories aplenty. Chemist Frank Greening and metallurgist Christian Simensen lend their expert knowledge to debate surrounding the legitimacy of reports emerging from the collapse of the World Trade Centre Twin Towers in September 2001.
Everyone is talking about: The Case Against Adnan Syed
Back in 2014, Sara Koenig brought us Serial – a 12-part podcast series which examined the case against Adnan Syed, a man who was jailed for the murder of his ex-girlfriend back in 1999.
If you’re still fascinated by the case and crave further insight, The Case Against Adnan Syed should do the trick. Created by HBO and Sky, the four-hour documentary will feature interviews with Syed’s family, friends and those closest to the case.
😳 I’ve been waiting for something like this. I wish they would turn it into a movie but I’ll settle for a documentary 😍 #AdnanSyed #SerialPodcast https://t.co/LbgtYRAZmr

The saddest part about the Adnan Syed case is that there are thousands of completely innocent people in jail and this lying, possessive, jealous piece of shit gets 3 podcasts, books and a HBO documentary made about him
