What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday
DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Love Island: The Weekly Hot List (3e, 9pm)
If this week’s heatwave meant you missed out on some of the island’s most explosive storylines, now’s your chance to catch up. And if you’re just obsessed AF, then it’s simply time to remind yourself how cracking the last week has been in the villa.
Veronica Guerin (RTÉ One, 9.20pm)
Starring Cate Blanchett, Gerard McSorley, Ciaran Hinds and Brenda Fricker, this 2003 drama tells the story of Irish crime reporter, Veronica Guerin, who was gunned down on the Naas Dual Carriageway in June 1996.
Big Daddy (Comedy Central, 7pm)
1999 comedy starring Adam Sandler who – in an effort to win back his girlfriend – volunteers to take care of his flatmate’s five-year-old son. In classic Hollywood style, he hasn’t a notion what he’s doing, and all forms of hilarity ensue.
