The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (RTÉ 2, 9.35pm)
Steig Larsson’s amazing crime thriller is remade in English. Rooney Mara stars as a mysterious hacker who is hired by disgraced journalist played by Daniel Craig who has been hired to solve a 40 year old murder. The corruption and conspiracy they uncover is far deeper than what they could have imagined.
The Graham Norton Show (BBC One, 11.05pm)
Poldark’s Aidan Turner will grace Graham’s couch tonight alongside Ethan Hawke and Toni Collette. Jo Brand will also be on hand to talk about her new film ‘The More You Ignore Me’ AND Liam Payne is going to perform live aswell. What more could you ask from a Friday night?
Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm)
The gang will be looking at coverage of the 8th Amendment Referendum as well as Harvey Weinstein’s arrest. They’ll also give their take on ‘A Very English Scandal’ (has Hugh Grant impressed?), First Dates and 4 Men, 175 Babies – The UK’s Super Sperm Donors. You know you want to hear what they think about that.
Everyone’s talking about… Matt Le Blanc leaving Top Gear
After two years and 4 series of the reboot, Matt Le Blanc is leaving Top Gear in order to spend more time with his family and friends. The actor who is a well known petrol head is based in the US and said that the long amount of time spent filming in the UK was taking him away from his family for more time than he liked.
