What to watch on TV tonight: Friday
EVERY WEEKDAY lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)
Father Ray Kelly – the Meath priest who’s clocked up eight million YouTube views in less than a week with his wedding performance of Hallelujah – will be on Tubridy’s couch talking about his surprise stardom. He’ll be joined by Yvonne Keating and her daughter Missy; Linda Nolan; Jimmy Magee and former South African rugby captain Francois Pienaar. #LateLateShow
The Trip to Italy (BBC Two, 10pm)
Second episode of the new series, featuring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon eating delicious dinners while taking the piss out of each other. The first one was great so fingers crossed for more of the same. #TheTrip
Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm)
Nominated for a Bafta this week, Channel 4′s surprise Twitter hit carries on its tradition of being quietly wonderful and hilarious. As an added bonus, this week they’ll be talking about Ghost. #gogglebox
Who’s on the other chat shows tonight?
Graham Norton: Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx.
Alan Carr: David Walliams, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Jennifer Saunders and Noel Edmonds.
Trending: Mad Men
AMC AMC
The seventh season of the advertising-glam drama premieres in the US on Sunday night, with Don and Peggy and the gang getting up to their usual cocktail-fuelled misogyny. Network AMC has said that this will be the show’s final season – although the last episodes won’t be broadcast until this time next year – so expectations are high.
Or switch over for…
