What to watch on TV tonight: Friday
Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Late Late Show Eurosong Special (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)
We’re still feeling a little sore after last year’s Eurovision disappointment. Can the next batch of hopefuls (Alex Saint, Erika Selin, Kat Mahon, Molly Sterling and Nikki Kavanagh) make us feel any better? Tonight, they’ll sing for their supper before the judging panel, which comprises Panti Bliss, TodayFM’s Mairead Farrell, Linda Martin and Phil Coulter. Only one can represent Ireland – who’s it gonna be? #latelate
Six Nations Rugby: Ireland U-20s v England U-20s (RTÉ2, 7pm)
The Irish U-20s meet England at Donnybrook Stadium tonight – Daire O’Brien, Brent Pope and Frankie Sheahan are your pundits. This should warm rugby fans up for Ireland vs England on Sunday.
House of Cards (Netflix)
Most of us are only raring to get home so we can finally watch it. At the risk of spoiling anything for those unfamiliar with the show, we’ll say this – now that Frank Underwood has achieved his ultimate goal, what next? Will he be able to shake off the past? We can’t wait to find out. #houseofcards
Everyone’s talking about: #HouseOfCards
Duh. The entire third season of the juicy political drama is now available for streaming, no doubt leading to pubs and restaurants across Ireland being completely empty for the whole weekend.
If you’re worried about spotting any spoilers before you get to watch it, check this out.
