What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

First Dates (Channel 4, 10pm)

The last season ended with a proposal (and there was another one soon after), so this new batch of daters has a lot to live up to. #firstdates

Mr Selfridge (UTV Ireland, 9pm)

Jeremy Piven reprises his role as the founder of Selfridges department store in London in the fourth season of this period drama. In the second episode of the season, Mr Selfridge hopes to open a cutting-edge technology department. #mrselfridge

Everybody’s talking about: The Friends reunion

Sorry to tell you, but the two-hour Friends tribute announced earlier this week is already going to the dogs. NBC execs wanted all six Friends back for an homage to the late producer James Burrows, but not everyone is going to make it.

Matthew Perry has confirmed that he won’t be there as he has prior commitments to a play in London, but he may be around to pre-record something for the programme.

So it’s not quite the big happy reunion we all wanted. Boo :(
