What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here’s the telly people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

After last week’s ridiculousness things are back to normal on the Late Late, with Katie Taylor doing her first interview since going professional last month. Pop star Olly Murs, fake tan queen Marissa Carter and Blindboy Boatclub of the Rubberbandits will also chat to Ryan. #latelate

War of the Worlds (TV3, 9pm)

Tom Cruise stars as a divorced father whose rare weekend with his kids is ruined by the arrival of aliens. But not just any aliens, aliens who plan on destroying the human race. Great! Based on the HG Wells novel of the same name.

Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm)

Ah Gogglebox, that cosy, warm blanket of a show. Just what you need of a Friday night, isn’t that right? The families watch all the telly from the past week, including I’m A Celebrity (featuring the show’s biggest star Scarlett Moffatt), and have at it. #gogglebox
