What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Golden Globes (RTÉ2, 9pm)

If you didn’t stay up until an unmerciful hour to watch it all last night, now you actually get the chance to SEE the blimmin’ ceremony for yourself. The show was Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s last crack at the hosting whip, and boy did they do well. To see all the frocks in action, check out the red carpet special on RTÉ2 from 8.10pm. #goldenglobes

Donal McIntyre: Breaking Crime (TV3, 9pm)

This week in the youth crime documentary series, McIntyre focuses on Dublin’s north inner city – this is the episode he was filming when he had his camera destroyed while trying to record on Sheriff Street. Unlucky. #breakingcrime

We Need To Talk About Porn (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

Put the kids to bed early and stick on the second half of this RTÉ documentary. This episode asks how much of a role porn plays in our attitudes towards sex and relationships. How much porn is consumed in Ireland, and what is its impact?

Naturally. And half of us haven’t even got to see it yet! Here’s our coverage in full:

Or switch over for…

  • Silent Witness (BBC1, 9pm) Second episode of the two-part series.
  • The Undateables (Channel 4, 9pm) A man with a mild learning disability plans his wedding – before he even goes on a date.
  • Broadchurch (TV3, 10pm) The second series of the drama continues.
  • Bodyshockers: Nips, Tucks and Tattoos (Channel 4, 10pm) Katie Piper meets people with terrible tattoos and too-big breast implants. Grim.
  • FIFA Ballon D’Or 2014 (RTÉ2, 11.15pm) We’ll naturally be rooting for Stephanie Roche at the awards ceremony in Zurich. #datgoal
