What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here are the shows people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Game of Thrones (Sky Atlantic, 9pm)

The fourth episode of season six, as the Jon Snow saga rumbles on and Daenerys is back at the centre of things. She’s confirmed she didn’t use a body double for her big scene, but we’re so afraid of posting spoilers we’re just going to stop now.

The Great British Sewing Bee (BBC2, 9pm)

Nouveau-talent-show mania continues to overwhelm us all as the sewing competition returns for another series, with Claudia Winkleman welcoming ten amateur seamstresses… seamsters… sewers?… into a round of hot and heavy thimble-based combat. God bless us and keep us.

Firetrap Homes: TV3 Investigates (TV3, 9pm)

Dubious building practices during the Celtic Tiger construction boom are under the spotlight as journalist Mick Clifford investigates fire hazards at new-built estates and apartment blocks. Let’s take a punt: it’s not going to be good news.

Everyone’s talking about: Drake hosting SNL

The rapper used his stint hosting Saturday Night Live to insist that he’s “more than just a meme”. He also did a Rihanna impression, but the line that will live on is surely: “Tryna say you really care about me / but then you put my picture on ET”.

Or flick over for…

  • PJ Mara: A Legacy (RTE One, 9.35pm) The infamous Fianna Fáil rainmaker gets his RTÉ profile.
  • Republic of Telly (RTE Two, 9.55pm) You know the deal.
  • Syriana (TG4, 9.30pm) Underrated George Clooney oil movie.
  • Very British Problems (Channel 4, 10pm) Oddly enough, most of these would also count as Very Irish Problems.
