What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1, 6.20pm)

Two glorious hours of Strictly tonight. Two! We hear that Daniel O’Donnell (because we’re all rooting for wee Daniel) is doing the Charleston, while Peter Andre will show us a waltz. Fabulous. #strictly #scd

Bridesmaids (Channel 4, 9pm)

“THERE IS A COLONIAL WOMAN ON THE WING! SHE WAS CHURNING BUTTER!” Bridesmaids is one of the best comedy films of the past few years. You should watch it. End of.

Anchorman (BBC1, 11.55pm)

When you’re finished Bridesmaids, you can re-watch Anchorman, because the TV schedulers are being good to us tonight. Very good indeed. I love lamp!

No, you’re not hearing things. There was an IFTAs in June, but by some strange turn of events we’re having another one later this month.

Nominees include the mighty Sharon Horgan, TV3′s new soap Red Rock, and Moone Boy. Tune in to TV3 on October 22 to see how it all goes down.
