Everybody’s talking about: The Crown

British Independent Film Awards - London Ian West / PA Wire Ian West / PA Wire / PA Wire

With Claire Foy’s tenure as the young Queen Elizabeth coming to a close in the second season of the drama, the actress taking over the role is… Olivia Colman!

The beloved star of Broadchurch, Peep Show et al previously played Liz in the film Hyde Park on Hudson, and will portray the Queen from 1956 to 1963. This is very good news indeed.
