What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Algorithm (TV3, 8pm)

Ray Foley presents this ‘man versus machine’ game show, which asks families to outsmart technology (and prove they know each other better than the fabled ‘algorithm’) to win up to €20k. We’re not sure, but it sounds something like All Star Mr and Mrs mixed with The Cube. Hmm. #thealgorithm

The Godfather (RTÉ2, 9pm)

The original and the best, starring Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone, the don of a New York crime family. Channel 4 are showing The Godfather Part III at 11.50pm, if you want to chuckle at Sofia Coppola’s acting.

Dylan Moran: Yeah Yeah Live (RTÉ2, 12.15am)

Stay up late and watch this live stand-up show by the great curmudgeon Dylan Moran, recorded in 2011. This show sees him going off on ageing, religion, and annoying kids – just some of the topics Moran tackles so well.
