What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday
EVERY LUNCHTIME, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Love/Hate (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)
The first episode saw Nidge getting back in business and now, thanks to his good friend Terence Bigballs, he’s getting his first shipment under the new deal. Det Moynihan, meanwhile, is having trouble cutting through Garda red tape. Good for Nidge? #lovehate
Ireland’s Fittest Family (RTÉ One, 6.30pm)
The first three quarter-final families attempt the obstacle course from hell – the ten foot walls, swamps and freezing water of the infamous Hell & Back obstacle course in Killruddery. There’s drama amongst the judges when the referee makes a controversial call. #fittestfamily
Downton Abbey (UTV, 9.15pm)
A quarter past nine on a Sunday night, AKA the time the mams of Ireland will be fighting dads for the remote. Tonight, the Dowager Countess confides in Isobel about her scandalous history with the Prince Kuragin, and the family worry about Edith’s interest in Marigold. #downton
Everybody’s talking about… Love/Hate
Er, duh. Not much is known about episode two but new pictures released by RTÉ appear to show some sort of motorcycle chase on one of Dublin’s motorways. Who’s being threatened with a gun? And who’s doing the threatening?
Promo clips for the episode show tensions rising again between Fran and Nidge. What’s new there, eh?
Or switch over for…
Hozier gave the performance of his life on SNL last night>
