What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1, 6.50pm)

Ah, this lovely cuddly warm blanket of a show. The whole team has decamped from London to Blackpool for the final few episodes, with Peter Andre, Jamelia, and favourite Jay McGuinness among the celebs still in the game. #strictly

The X Factor (TV3, 8pm)

So, how are they going to bounce back after Olly Murs’ slip-up last week? We’ll see - tonight, the final seven contestants sing for their suppers. Louisa Johnson is currently the bookies favourite to win the thing, so keep an eye out for her. #xfactor

The Help (BBC2, 9.45pm)

Tonight’s film pick is this Oscar-nominated period drama about a white woman (Emma Stone) and her relationship with two black maids (Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer) during Civil Rights-era Jackson, Mississippi.

Everybody’s talking about: Tom Hanks on Graham Norton

Look, everybody already loves Hanx. But his appearance on Graham Norton last night sealed the deal for everyone, especially when he gently goaded David Walliams about not having an Oscar:
