DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Handmaid’s Tale (Channel 4, 9pm)
The much-hyped drama starts in Ireland tonight after being very well received in the US. Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss stars as one of the few remaining fertile women in a dystopian America, kept as slaves to bear children for the leaders of the totalitarian regime. Read more about it here. #thehandmaidstale
At Your Service (RTÉ One, 8.30pm)
Francis and John Brennan turn their attention to a country pub on Achill Island that’s in need of renovating. Maybe record this and keep it for after you watch The Handmaid’s Tale. #atyourservice
Redwater (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)
How surprised was everyone when this turned out to be very compelling? The EastEnders spinoff continues tonight with Kat being reunited with her son – but she doesn’t realise the danger he poses to her family. #redwater
Everybody’s talking about: Big Brother

It’s back. Again. (Did it not just end?) The newest non-celebrity season has just got a teaser trailer, and claims it will be “extremely revealing”. We can’t fathom how it could be possible for it to be even more revealing, but let’s wait and see.
Or flick over for…
- The Amazing Spider-Man (RTÉ2, 6.05pm) 2012 reboot of the superhero film, which is due a reboot itself this year. Reboot city! Starring Andrew Garfield.
- The Life Swap Adventure (BBC2, 8pm) A fire officer from Essex swaps lives with a farmer in Malawi. Hmm.
- Heat (TV3, 9pm) Al Pacino plays a ruthless detective determined to put away Robert De Niro’s master criminal.
- Paul Hollywood’s Big Continental Road Trip (BBC2, 9pm) If you can even stand to look at Hollywood after the GBBO betrayal, he’s heading around Europe for a lark.
- Jaws (RTÉ2, 11pm) Staying up late? Remind yourself why Jaws scared the sh*t out of you as a kid.
