Be a little more sinister, Jamie? Eh? RTE

What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Fall (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)

It’s the penultimate episode of the macabre Belfast-set drama, at least as far as this second series is concerned. Last week’s instalment brought us to new heights of depravity with some good old cybersex and sneaking around hotel rooms: what lies in store this evening? #thefall

World’s Greatest Food Markets (BBC Two, 9pm)

In this three-part show, seasoned Cockney fishmonger Roger Barton is dispatched to big food markets around the world to see if he can turn his selling skills to a profit wherever he lands. We’ve already seen Barton learn the ropes in New York and Mexico City, and tonight he heads to New Delhi.

American Psycho (Sky Atlantic, 10.10pm)

Do you like Huey Lewis and the News? How about business cards? Yes, it’s Christian Bale as the monstrous Patrick Bateman in this classic spearing – literally – of Wall Street capitalism. Settle in for long monologues and gore.

Everyone’s talking about: The Walking Dead finale

AMC AMC

The fifth season of the zombie-virus juggernaut reaches its climax in the US tonight, and will get to our screens on Monday. This series has been well-received and expectations are high – with Daryl, aka Norman Reedus, revealing that the events of the finale are so emotional that he cried for an hour before he could start filming. An hour!

Or flick over for…

  • The Walking Dead (Fox, 10pm) Penultimate episode before the finale airs on these shores tomorrow
  • Strictly Come Dancing: The Results (BBC One, 7.15pm) Who’s out?
  • I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! (3e, 9pm) Dust settles after the elimination
  • X Factor: The Results (TV3, 8pm) More hopefuls get the axe
  • Universal Soldier (Channel 5, 11.05pm) Admirably silly action movie with Jean-Claude Van Damme at his muscly best.
