The Takeover (RTÉ Two, 9.30pm)

RTÉ’s show in which the employees of a business take over total control from the managers. This episode features a beauty spa in Drogheda whose bosses are “at a loss”, so hand control over to their minions. #TheTakeover

Jockey School (Channel 4, 10pm)

Three young people from difficult backgrounds – described as “fighters, Travellers and troublesome teens” – enter the toughest jockey school in Britain for this new Channel 4 documentary. They love horses, but will they be whipped into shape? And does the school really offer a second chance? #JockeySchool

A Sovereign People: The Story Of The Irish Revolution (RTÉ One, 10.15pm)

Major documentary shining a new light on the decades that led up to Irish independence. It promises to uncover a few uncomfortable truths along the way – like the fact that in 1900, 40 per cent of British Army troops were Irish-born.
