What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday
EVERY WEEKDAY lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Educating Yorkshire: One Year On (Channel 4, 9pm)
This fly-on-the-wall documentary about a school in Yorkshire captured the hearts of Ireland and the UK last year, bringing together a cast of characters struggling with the problems of being a teenager – and of teaching them. Here the cameras return to catch up with the protagonists a year later. #educatingyorkshire
Most Haunted (Really, 10pm)
Remember Most Haunted? Remember how silly it was? Well, it’s BACK. With the first new episodes since 2010, and host Yvette Fielding in all her ghost-hunting glory. The new series also promises celebrity guests including “Ben Foden and the England Rugby team as well as Welsh heavy metal band Bullet for my Valentine.” #mosthaunted
The Honourable Woman (BBC2, 9pm)
It’s the finale of this compelling but horrifically complicated thriller starring Maggie Gyllenhaal. Have you managed to keep track of what the hell is going on? No? Well, it may or may not all be explained tonight.
Everybody’s talking about: Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul’s TV reunion
Walt and Jessie from Breaking Bad have appeared on screen together for the first time since that show’s finale… in a comedy sketch called Barely Legal Pawn. Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus also features in the actually-pretty-funny skit, released by the US Television Academy ahead of the 2014 Emmy Awards next Monday.
