Their plans get turned around when their daughter decides to come home for the holidays. Not brilliant, but you’re hardly going to turn down some Christmas cheer, are you?

Sad news, everyone – the Michael family have been dropped from Gogglebox, as dad Andrew is running for a seat in the British Parliament with controversial party UKIP.
Channel 4 told the BBC that any Gogglebox cast member who decides to run for government would have to step down.
Mum Carolyne confirmed the family’s departure last night, saying they had loved “every minute” of their involvement with the show.
