What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Don’t Tell The Bride (RTÉ Two, 9pm)

Ireland’s very own version of the horrendously compelling wedding-planning show continues. In tonight’s instalment, Longford lad Jamie is handed ten grand and told to go plan a big day for himself and fiancée Danielle. It’s got a Wild West theme. We can only guess there are problems along the way.

Fortitude (Sky Atlantic, 9pm)

Sky’s well-regarded new drama continues with Michael Gambon chewing it up in a very cold place. And it’s got Sarah Lund from The Killing, aka Sofie Gråbøl. And tonight the identity of the killer will be revealed. What more could you want?

Dara and Ed’s Great Big Adventure (RTÉ One, 10.15pm)

Dara O’Briain and Ed Byrne continue the proud televisual tradition of Comedians Going To Other Countries And Having The Craic. Tonight they’re in Guatemala. It makes for pretty good TV, but mostly we’re just jealous that this is their job.

Everyone’s talking about: How To Get Away With Murder

Shonda Rhimes’ latest show was one of the most talked-about premieres this telly season, and tonight it reaches its finale in the US. (The broadcast on RTÉ Two, naturally, is behind.) There’s a two-hour special for the endgame, and we’re told that the facts of Lila’s killing are finally revealed.

Or flick over for…

  • Looking (Sky Atlantic, 10.30pm) Acclaimed drama about a group of gay friends in San Francisco.
  • Nurse Jackie (RTÉ Two, midnight) New series starts tonight.
  • Botched (E!, midnight) Feast your eyes on other people’s plastic surgery misfortune.
  • Jason Byrne’s Snaptastic Show (TV3, 10pm) Jason Byrne talks to comedians about their childhood photographs.
