Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Celebrity Big Brother (TV3, 9pm)
Oh yes, it’s back – such luminaries as Janice Dickinson, Natasha from Atomic Kitten and porn star Jenna Jameson are reportedly entering the house tonight. More than likely, though, the real housemates will include some lad who used to be on Corrie and a random Irish model. Let’s be fair. #cbb
Where I Am (RTÉ One, 10.10pm)
In 1999, gay American author Robert Drake was attacked and left for dead outside the house he was renting with his partner in Sligo. This documentary follows his return to Ireland, more than 15 years after the attack. #whereiam
The Descendants (More4, 9pm)
George Clooney was nominated for an Oscar for his role as a man attempting to rebuild his relationship with his daughters after his wife is seriously injured in a boating accident. Well worth a watch.
Everyone’s talking about: Dara Ó Briain
We all knew he was a man of many talents, but Ó Briain is now turning his hand to food.
The funnyman will host a new BBC show about the future of food, revolving around the “cutting-edge technologies” in the food industry. Oooh.
Or switch over for…
- Big Blue Live (BBC1, 8pm) A look at life at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in the US.
- Building the Ancient City (BBC2, 8pm) How the ancient Romans made the city of Rome work.
- Flockstars (UTV Ireland, 8.30pm) Forget about the reality show where celebs do sheepdog trials? It’s still happening!
- Friends With Benefits (RTÉ2, 9pm) Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake have ALL the chemistry in this romantic comedy.
- Very British Problems (Channel 4, 10pm) James Corden, Jonathan Ross et al chat about Brits’ inability to express emotions. Not so different from our own problems.
