Des Bishop: Breaking China (RTÉ One, 10.15pm)

The second episode of Des Bishop’s new documentary series has the comedian setting up a comedy club in Beijing. According to Des’ Twitter, he also “goes to a park to try and find a Chinese wife”, but we’ll have to watch to find out how that went for him. #BreakingChina

The Takeover (RTÉ Two, 9.30pm)

This week, businesswoman Norah Casey revamps the Waldorf Barbers on Dublin’s Westmoreland St, which has been open since 1929. Will the family-owned shop be able to introduce modern touches to their retro-tastic business? #TheTakeover

Kevin’s Supersized Salvage (Channel 4, 9pm)

The irrepressible Kevin McCloud challenges three designers to turn one Airbus A320 plane into a variety of household items. The results of the “upcycling” contest are bound to be interesting.
