The Circuit (Channel 4, 10pm)

Horizon: My Amazing Twin (BBC2, 9pm)

A Doctor’s Sword (RTÉ One, 10.10pm)
This documentary tells the story of Aidan MacCarthy, an RAF doctor from Cork who survived the atomic bomb attack on Nagasaki. He was presented with a Samurai sword for helping save lives at the scene – now, his family want to know more about the origins of the blade and tell MacCarthy’s incredible life story. #adoctorssword
Everyone’s talking about: Friends
Years and years later, it has been revealed that we almost got a Janice spin-off series. Actress Maggie Wheeler says a British writer approached her with the idea to make Janice a therapist in a comedy reality show:
I would have absolutely loved a spin-off show for that character, I’m not sure why it never happened… I guess it was not meant to be.
And to think we got that dreadful Joey spin-off instead. The Lord bless us and save us.
Or flick over for…
