Beyond Redemption: A Would You Believe Special (RTÉ One, 10.15pm)

For 20 years, reporter Mick Peelo has investigated sexual abuse in the Roman Catholic Church. However, in this documentary, Peelo reveals some ‘unpalatable truths’ about Ireland’s sex offenders, and asks if these people can ever be changed or forgiven. #beyondredemption

Gogglebox Ireland (TV3, 9.30pm)

Tonight, a new family of four from Galway are introduced to the mix, and they promise to be ‘dramatic, energetic and honest’. Well now. The households will be watching Pulp Fiction, Body Fixers, and SAS: Who Dares Wins. #goggleboxireland

The Apprentice (BBC1, 9pm)

The candidates must design and manufacture their own brand of sweets, then head off to Brighton to sell them. Strangely, we don’t think this is going to go too well. #theapprentice

Everybody’s talking about: Narcos

Fans of the Netflix show will be delighted to hear that the two US DEA agents who inspired the Narcos, Javier Pena (played by Pedro Pascal) and Steve Murphy (Boyd Holbrook), are coming to Dublin to discuss their roles in the downfall of druglord Pablo Escobar.

They’ll appear on the Vicar Street stage on December 14 – tickets are available from Friday here.
