What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline later.

EVERY WEEKDAY lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

No Limbs, No Limits (RTÉ One, 10.15pm)

The TV premiere of this documentary about Cork teenager Joanne O’Riordan, who was born without arms or legs but has gone on to address the United Nations and have a robot built for her by Trinity College scientists. This film, made by her brother Steven, promises to be inspiring stuff. #nolimbsnolimits

Terminator 2: Judgement Day (Channel 4, 10pm)

Ten years ago the machines who rule the future sent an unstoppable Terminator to assassinate the as-yet unborn John Connor. They failed. In 1991, the machines will try again.

It’s now 23 years since this movie was released, and it’s STILL a deeply tacky classic. AHHHNIEEEE.

Following the Traveller Millions (TV3, 9pm)

A repeat of journalist Paul Connolly’s 2012 documentary about crime among the Irish Traveller community. It has faced criticism for only highlighting negative elements among a minority of Travellers – but promises to highlight how some criminals earn their living.

Everyone’s talking about: Jeremy Paxman’s final Newsnight

The legendary BBC interviewer hung up his microphone yesterday after 25 years presenting the flagship current affairs show Newsnight.

His final appearance saw him ride a tandem with London mayor Boris Johnson. Dignified.
