What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Catastrophe (Channel 4, 10pm)

The best comedy on TV continues tonight, with Rob planning to become a stay-at-home dad and Sharon, um, resisting this idea. Are you ready for jokes about breast milk and some of the funniest, most tender scenes on television? Course you are.

Vogue’s Wild Girls (RTÉ Two, 10pm)

A new Vogue Williams-helmed show in which she meets “some of the world’s toughest women”. Tonight’s episode takes her to the US, where she tours some prisons, experiences life as an inmate, and has a gander at Death Row. It’s not like that time she drank her own wee though is it?

I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here (UTV Ireland, 9pm)

Thirteen years after this show first aired, we are STILL watching celebrities eat gross body parts in the jungle. It’s now day nine, and we’re dealing with the fallout of all the toads that appeared on day eight. Seems like so long ago, doesn’t it?

Everyone’s talking about… Adele on Jimmy Fallon

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon / YouTube

Adele was on the Tonight Show last night, belting out her new song Water Under The Bridge and also playing Jimmy’s Box Of Lies game. Look, it was Adele, she was on TV, and everyone loves listening to Adele talk. What more do you need to know?

Or flick over for…

  • The Great Pottery Throw Down (BBC Two, 9pm) Truly the Great British Bake Off has a lot to answer for.
  • The Truth About Child Sex Abuse (BBC two, 10pm) A new review of child sex abuse makes some revelations on the BBC tonight.
  • Spotlight: Stakeknife (BBC One, 10.35pm) A repeat of the BBC documentary on the British army’s spy Stakeknife in Northern Ireland – and whether he was involved in multiple murders.
  • American Horror Story: Hotel (Fox, 10pm) The reliably bonkers horror series continues apace.
