Motherland (BBC2, 11.15pm)

This one-off comedy from Graham Linehan (Father Ted, Black Books) and Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe) follows the trials and tribulations of a group of middle class mums, and one stay at home dad. With such writing talent behind it, there’s bound to be laughs by the bucketload. #motherland

Ireland’s IVF Couples (TV3, 9.30pm)

Documentary meeting couples who have turned to IVF to help them conceive – would-be parents include a gay couple challenging the law to have a child, and a woman who was told as a teen that she would struggle to carry a baby. #IrelandsIVFCouples

Peter McVerry: A View from the Basement (RTÉ One, 10.15pm)

For 40 years, Fr Peter McVerry has lead the fight against homelessness and addiction in Ireland. This documentary takes a look back at his work, and meets some of the lives he has helped to save. #petermcverry

  • Celebs Go Dating (E4, 10pm) The ‘celebs’ may be questionable, but this dating show is damn watchable anyway.
