What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday
EVERY LUNCHTIME, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Apprentice (BBC1, 9pm)
After a disastrous start last night, for their next task the candidates are asked to design a piece of wearable technology.
One team opts for a hi-tech jacket, the other a sweatshirt with a built-in video camera. What could possibly go wrong? #TheApprentice
Swallowed By The Sea: Ancient Egypt’s Greatest Lost City (BBC2, 9pm)
This documentary follows a team of archaeologists as they explore the ancient Egyptian city of Heracleion, which was consumed by the sea and forgotten for two thousand years. Temples, statues, houses and boats remain perfectly preserved. Chillingly interesting.
The Supervet (Channel 4, 8pm)
The Irish ‘Bionic Vet’ Noel Fitzpatrick returns with another series of absolutely inspiring animal rescues. In this episode, Fitzpatrick operates on a cat that lost the ability to walk after being hit by a car. Expect tears. #supervet
Everyone’s talking about: #TheApprentice hotdogs
Terrible products, terrible notions and insufferable eejits aplenty? The Apprentice must be back on our screens.
But what people were most disturbed about were the disgusting hotdogs (they’re ‘edgy’ don’t you know) sold by the boys’ team. Cheese, guacamole and hummus were amongst the toppings on offer. Hummus.
