What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

Here are the shows people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Versailles (BBC2, 9.30pm)

Brace yourselves – the ‘filthiest TV series in UK history’ is here. Based on the life of Louis XIV, this drama promises gruesome torture scenes and explicit sex aplenty. Think Game of Thrones mixed with Downton, and don’t watch with your ma. #versailles

Seventy With A Six Pack (Channel 4, 10pm)

This documentary follows British OAPs as they train for the World Bodybuilding Championships in Miami. Age ain’t nothing but a number, folks.

The Big C & Me (BBC1, 9pm)

This new series tells the stories of nine people with cancer as they deal with their diagnosis, receive treatment, and try to get on with their lives. In the first episode, we meet Sally, who hopes a stem-cell transplant will finally make her cancer-free.

Everybody’s talking about: The X Factor

The new judging panel was announced today with very little fanfare – ex-judges Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh are all returning for this year’s contest.

Yawn. BRING BACK DANNII MINOGUE.
