This is a new, three-part ‘domestic horror’ concerning a teenage boy alienated from his newly-divorced parents. Not only that, he has to deal with a supernatural power he’s inherited from his grandfather. There’s a touch of the Stranger Things to it, no? #him

The Great British Bake Off (BBC1, 8pm)

It’s semi-final week, and the four remaining bakers will be focusing on perfecting some French pastries. With the final looming, the contestants will have to do just about everything they can to impress Paul and Mary. #GBBO

The Missing (BBC1, 9pm)

The second season of the spooky drama started off last week with the tale of Alice Webster, who returned home after being missing for over 10 years. What truly happened to her, and will she ever be able to recover? #themissing

Everybody’s talking about: American Crime Story

After understandably clearing up at awards season with its excellent OJ Simpson series, American Crime Story is now filming seasons 2 and 3 concurrently.

Season 2 will explore Hurricane Katrina, while the third will focus on the murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace outside his mansion in Miami, Florida in 1997.
