THE SWITCH-OFF of analogue TV signals across Ireland this week marks the end of an era.
To mark it, we’ve pulled together sound clips from 23 old TV and radio shows from Ireland, Britain and further afield from the last few decades.
Some are older than others; some will suit certain audiences of different ages. Not all of them are theme tunes either – you’ll need to recognise the show in which the particular sound clip would have featured.
Either way, irrespective of your age, there’s bound to be a few in here that you’ll recognise. But can you name all 23?
