The X Factor (TV3, 8pm)

The second episode of the weekend sees the judges preside over another round of auditions. People seemed mostly delighted that Louis, Sharon and Nicole were back in their rightful positions last night, and things will be hotting up again tonight as more would-be pop icons strut their stuff.

The Sunday Game (RTÉ 2, 9.30pm)

The All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final between Dublin and Kerry is the marquee show tonight. Catch all the highlights and analysis on what is a crucial encounter at Croker.

Brendan O’Carroll: My Family at War (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)

Another chance to see writer and comedian Brendan O’Carroll tell the story of the Irish Easter Rising from the perspective of his three uncles – who all took part back in 1916.

Everybody’s talking about: Casualty on BBC One last night

A helicopter crashed and it was pure chaos:

It was the drama’s 30th anniversary celebration and they did it in style – by causing an absolute tragedy.

It is Casualty, after all.

The reaction was one of amazement:

Special effects of that quality aren’t supposed to be on Saturday night soaps:

Well played.
