What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here’s the telly people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Gogglebox Ireland, Tv3, 9.30pm

Last week the families were gawking at the All-Ireland and the Late Late among others – and then pulled off some typically gas one-liners. This week, they tackle the lip sync battle on the Ray D’Arcy Show, The Fall and the old reliable Winning Streak. Promising. #GoggleboxIRL

The Apprentice, BBC One, 9pm

It’s the second episode of the new series – and we have a couple of Irish representatives in da house. It’s early days yet in the show, so we don’t really know who’s going to be the enemies and the heroes – but one thing we can all agree on is that we would definitely be better business people than all of them. Armchair wisdom at its most satisfying. #TheApprentice

Inside Trinity, RTÉ One, 10:15pm

A documentary that follows the life of the university for one year – and tonight’s the final episode. Now Senator Lynn Ruane approaches the climax of her time as Student Union president and the academic year is winding down. Trinners for winners, etc. #InsideTrinity

Everyone’s talking about… how Westworld is all conquering

The new sci-fi thriller has become Sky Atlantic’s most successful debut show:

As The Guardian reports:

A total of 1.84 million people have watched the sci-fi series since its launch on 4 October. The previous biggest series premiere on the channel, Fortitude, drew 1.74 million in its first week, and episode one season one of Game of Thrones was seen by 1.45 million.

It’s been an absolute smash over in the US as well, with serious praise for the stars Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood and Ed Harris.
