What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here’s the telly people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Don’t Tell the Bride (RTÉ 2, 9.35pm)

The second episode of the new series sees Dubliners Tracey and Peter go through all the trials and tribulations of a Don’t Tell The Bride experience. Peter is described as “a laidback scatterbrain whose only loves in life – apart from his bride-to-be – are their two-year-old son and football.” THIS CAN’T GO WELL. #DontTellTheBride

Gogglebox Ireland (Tv3, 10pm)

It’s the final episode of the series – and it’s time for The Late Late Toy Show. The Tullys, Adenugas and Gruffertys are all joined by their kids whilst Eileen’s grandkids join herself and Angela. It’s a truly family affair to see the debut season out.

The Secret Life of the Zoo (Channel 4, 10.40pm)

Observational documentary series capturing, in incredible detail, the remarkable behaviour of the animals at Chester Zoo. Tonight, Tiger mum Kirana’s sons are being moved to other zoos to start their own families and young monkey Rocky won’t pay attention to his mum’s life lessons.

Everyone’s talking about… Donald Trump’s continuing feud with SNL

1204snl01 Newsweek Newsweek

We all know that the President elect didn’t like Alec Baldwin’s most recent impersonation  - and tweeted about it over the weekend.

But now he’s doubled down on it. Yesterday, in a phone interview with the Today programme, he talked about Baldwin’s impression:

I don’t think it’s good. I like him as an actor, but I don’t think his imitation gets me at all, and it’s meant to be very mean-spirited… and I don’t like it.
Frankly, the way the show is going now… who knows how long that show is going to be on? It’s a terrible show.

Very Presidential.

  • The Apprentice (BBC One, 9pm) We’re getting down to the business end of things now.
  • The World’s Most Expensive Christmas (Channel 4, 10pm) How the super-rich 1% celebrate the holiday. Basically, the family from Home Alone without the losing of a child, you’d imagine.
