What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Homeland (RTE 2, 9.30pm)

The third episode as the new series continues apace on RTÉ. Tonight, Saul ventures to Abu Dhabi, and Carrie is forced to deliver bad news. Meanwhile, Quinn suspects something is amiss. Oooooh.

Paul (Film4, 9pm)

An alien held captive in a top-secret American military base escapes and hides out in the van of two English comic-book geeks on a tour of UFO hotspots. The wisecracking extraterrestrial enlists the duo’s help in getting back to his spaceship, but they are soon pursued by government agents and unwittingly become kidnappers. Sci-fi comedy, starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

Rachel Allen: All Things Sweet (RTE One, 8.30pm)

The chef demonstrates home-made delights, from indulgent puddings and classic cakes to delicate pastries, luxurious mousses and tasty ice-creams. Let’s hope she gets that GBBO gig.

Everyone’s talking about… James Corden’s response to Trump’s executive order on immigration

He showed how easy it is for someone like him to travel through LAX airport:

The Late Late Show with James Corden / YouTube

Given this week’s Late Late shows are pre-recorded, playing this at the start of last night’s episode was the only way he could address the controversy.

The short film finished with these words:

Today, James flew out of Los Angeles. So all our shows this week have been pre-taped. Freedom of movement should be this easy for all legal immigrants. Not just the white and Christian ones.

Simple, but effective.
