What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

About Time (RTE One, 9.35pm)

The Midweek Movie tonight features our very own Domhnall Gleeson – who stars as a single man who gets the chance to turn his unhappy life around when his father reveals that they both have the ability to travel through time and change their personal history. Sounds weird, but it 100% works if romcoms are your thing.

Klondike 2 (TG4, 9.30pm)

This new four-part Gaeilge series brings viewers back into the world of An Klondike and the town of Dominion Creek after the events of Season One. Tom and Séamus Connolly look to consolidate their position in Dominion, but their plans are complicated by the arrival of new faces in the town.

DIY SOS: The Big Build (BBC One, 9pm)

Nick Knowles, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and the team travel the UK in search of gaffs in need of some emergency fixing. Tonight is an ambitious build to make a home functional for 17-year-old Antonia Payne-Cheney, who has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a rare and debilitating condition.

Everyone’s talking about: Oprah Winfrey is coming back to TV

She’s joining the famous news programme 60 Minutes as a contributor:

“You get an undercover political investigation! You get an undercover political investigation! You get an undercover political investigation!”

^Oprah, probably.

Seriously though, Oprah described what her special contributor role would entail:

At a time when people are so divided, my intention is to bring relevant insight and perspective, to look at what separates us, and help facilitate real conversations between people from different backgrounds.

Her own show ended in 2011, so people are excited to see her back on telly in a regular slot.
