What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Room to Improve (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)

DERMOT, DERMOT, DERMOT! The nation’s architect helps a Sutton resident to redesign the 1960s house she grew up in as a new home for her family. He proposes building a large extension with a mezzanine, but when surveyor Lisa O’Brien examines the plans, they turn out to be more costly than expected (shock) – while the owners start changing his designs (double shock).

Agnes Browne (TV3, 9pm)

An Irish mother of seven struggles to survive in the 1960s after the death of her husband. Desperation drives her to borrow money from a loan shark, but all the while she dreams of being able to see singer Tom Jones perform. Drama based on Brendan O’Carroll’s novel, directed by and starring Anjelica Huston.

Dancing with the Stars (RTE One, 6.30pm)

Having just passed the half way mark of the series the competition on Dancing with the Stars is hotting up. With the shock elimination of Des Bishop last week it’s all to play for. Des Cahill will be back on the boards after his injury and illness, so we’re in for a treat.

Everybody’s talking about: the Moffatts will not be appearing on Channel 4′s Gogglebox any more

Since Scarlett has forged a career for herself in the celeb world, there’s no more room on the couch for her parents either.

As The Radio Times reports:

There has been a question mark over Betty and Mark’s future on the show since Scarlett launched her showbiz career, winning last year’s I’m A Celebrity and racking up appearances in the sorts of shows she used to chat about with her mum and dad on the sofa.
A spokesperson confirmed the news to RadioTimes.com, saying: “The Moffatt family will not be appearing in this series.”

No more Moffatts, then.
