This time, actor, singer and West End star Michael Ball pulls up a chair in Mrs Brown’s sitting room, along with actress and one-time Strictly Come Dancing contestant Sunetra Sarker, most recently been seen in guest roles in both Death in Paradise and Broadchurch. Premiere. A housewife trapped in a loveless marriage in 1950s New York forms a close attachment with a younger woman seeking fulfilment in her own life. A passionate secret affair develops, but as her husband grows suspicious, she finds her competence as a parent being called into question.
