What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Maia Dunphy’s Truth About Breaking London (RTÉ 2, 10pm)

The second part of Maia Dunphy’s look at the Irish emigrant experience in London. Maia moved over there herself recently, so she probably has a thing or two to say on what it’s like across the water. #BreakingLondon

Karl Pilkington: The Moaning of Life (Sky 1, 10pm)

The second series in Karl’s epic philosophical journey starts tonight. We’ll see him head to America to consider the point of art and he’ll meet artists who make sculptures out of dog muck and strip off in Times Square. Sounds about right. #MoaningOfLife

Homeland (RTÉ Two, 9pm)

Season Five continues tonight and it sees Carrie and During visit a refugee camp while Saul and Allison come to blows. Compelling stuff for those still following, of course. #Homeland

Everyone’s talking about… Bake off winner Nadiya’s interview with The Guardian

nadiyatv Guardian Guardian

Everyone’s favourite TV baker spoke at length about the overwhelming response she has received since her Great British Bake Off appearance. And had some words on her future too:

Yes books, yes TV – I would love to do it all. If I could bake for ever I would be happy. With cooking, I am very experimental but I love the classic dishes my mum and dad taught me.

She even had a bit of a laugh about her husband’s new found internet fame:

He was shocked. They were saying: ‘Meet me in London?’ I think he is enjoying it but I said: ‘It’s my time! Don’t steal my thunder!’

<3 you Nadiya.

Or flick over for…

  • Girls to Men (Channel 4, 10pm) The Channel 4 documentary follows three people as they go through gender reassignment surgery.
  • Educating Cardiff (Channel 4, 9pm) The always entertaining format, just in Wales instead of Essex.
  • Beverly Hills Cop II (Film 4, 11.15pm) Savour the time when Eddie Murphy was legitimately funny and starred in good films.
  • River (BBC One, 9pm) A brand new police drama from the BBC starts tonight. If it’s done well, then it could be a stayer.
