DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Gogglebox Ireland (Tv3, 9pm)
The second episode of the new series is here, and we’re getting introduced to a new group: The Louth Lads. Michael (25), David (24) and Gerry (25) are all best mates since childhood, and put aside one night of the week to get together to watch telly. Perfect material for Gogglebox, then. Bants incoming.
Celebrity Operation Transformation (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)
Mary Byrne, chef Gary O’Hanlon, beauty writer Triona McCarthy, James Patrice and singer Kayleigh Cullinan find themselves surrounded by temptations as they take part in a week of album launches, partying and jet setting. Week three is here, and things are getting real.
White House Down (RTÉ Two, 9pm)
A policeman is turned down for his dream job as a secret service bodyguard to the president. While taking his daughter on a tour of the White House, he gets the chance to prove himself when terrorists seize control of the building, putting the head of state’s life in his hands. Action thriller, with Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Woods.
