What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Ireland’s Rising (RTÉ One, 8.30pm)

The RTÉ series that follows celebrities as they return to their home county to discover the area’s connection to the 1916 rising continues tonight with Ryan Tubridy’s trip to Galway. He comes across a letter written by his great grandmother Jane to Roger Casement and other Tubridy-related facts that link Galway and his family to the event. Bound to be a fascinating watch. #IrelandsRising

I’m a Celebrity – the final (UTV Ireland, 9pm)

Vicky Pattison, George Shelley and  Ferne McCann will battle it out tonight to see who is the most popular celebrity in the jungle in 2015. It’s the rise of the reality stars then as footballer Kieron Dyer was knocked out last and other more traditional celebs have got the boot too. Who will prevail? We’re backing Vicki. #ImaCeleb

The X Factor (TV3, 8pm)

The business end of things now. Only three semi-finalists tonight will be progressing to next week’s final. Who will make it through? Will Olly and Caroline continue to tease us with some not-so-subtle romantic innuendos? The drama. #TheXFactor

Everyone is talking about… the new national weather-reporting icon that is Teresa Mannion

Of course, her RTÉ weather report has been the talk of Ireland since her report on Storm Desmond went viral.

Now she’s the star of a dance remix, and it’s a bit of a banger:

SUPER CÉILÍ / YouTube

Perhaps the best thing that has come out of this whole situation. Coppers, prepare yourself.

Or flick over for…

World’s Weirdest Homes (Channel 4, 7.30pm) Think of it like a really weird version of Room to Improve.

Stetsons and Stilettos (RTÉ One, 7.30pm) The last episode of the country music extravaganza.

’71 (Film4 9pm) Troubles-based drama that’s as intense as it is gritty. Not a relaxing one, but worth it if that’s your thing.

8 Mile (BBC Three, 9.30pm) Eminem’s finest cinematic hour (and perhaps his only one).
