What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Rich Kids of Instagram (Channel 4, 9pm)

This Cutting Edge documentary follows Instagram celebrities in their daily lives – and sees just how rich and successful they have become thanks to their insane number of followers. For example, they hang out with Nathaniel in San Francisco who “waves large amounts of money about to rub followers up the wrong way” and seems like a sound lad. Should be a fascinating watch. #RichKidsofInstagram

David Beckham – Into the Unknown (RTÉ 2, 7.05pm)

This documentary originally aired on the BBC last year and follows Becks through an adventure in the Amazon rainforest in Brazil with his childhood friends. Well worth a watch. #IntoTheUnknown

Christmas University Challenge (BBC Two, 8pm)

A special episode tonight sees the traditional Christmas face-off between famous past pupils. Usually a good one to see if you can spot anyone you know and ascertain whether they can keep to the high standards of their younger successors. #UniversityChallenge

Everyone’s talking about… President Obama’s adventure on the telly last night with Bear Grylls

The Guardian thought it was WEIRD:

Is this not the weirdest thing ever to go out on TV though? The leader of the free world joking about farting round the campfire? And bear sex, and drinking your own wee, which they also discuss, but sadly don’t actually do.

Some thought Obama came across well:

But the whole thing was a bit too cringe for some:
