What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Operation Transformation (RTÉ One, 8.30pm)

With just three weeks to go until the 5k, the pressure is on. Tonight, the leaders step on the scales to find out if they have achieved the results they were looking for. Feel the TENSION. #OperationTransformation

Neven Maguire: Healthy Home Chef (RTÉ One, 7.30pm)

The likable Cavan chef demonstrates some recipes that we can theoretically tackle in the kitchen. And the best thing about them is – they’re actually good for you too. We won’t watch this while eating a takeaway though, the guilt will be just too much. #NevenMaguire

The Great Sport Relief Bake Off (BBC One, 8pm)

The special celebrity season of the Bake Off continues tonight, as Kimberley Walsh, Victoria Coren Mitchell, ex-footballer Chris Kamara and ex-politician Ed Balls attempt to bake up a storm for the judges. Mary Berry et al will, of course, be casting some serious judgement on their efforts in the kitchen. #GBBO

Everybody’s talking about… Gemma Collins getting the boot from Celebrity Big Brother last night

Up against Danniella Westbrook and Stephanie Davis in a live elimination last night, Gemma was finally voted off the show.

Leaving just six contestants left.

Gemma got booed on the way out as well – hardly ideal.

We’ll wait and see what happens on Friday’s finale, then.

Or switch over for…

  • Posh Pawn (Channel 4, 8pm) A new series of the high-end pawnbroker checking out rare and expensive items.
  • School of Rock (E4 8pm) Jack Black and some serious surprisingly class tunes.
  • Leap Year (RTÉ One, 10.05pm) You don’t find all that many people who enjoy this film, but it’s worth it for the comical Irish accents. Probably.
  • Life Stories: Ireland’s Greatest Robberies (3e, 9pm) If you’re into some real life crime drama, this could be for you.
