What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday
DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Room to Improve (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)
What would Sunday nights be without Dermot Bannon doing up people’s homes for us to have a gawk? It’s the modern day Glenroe. He returns tonight for a brand new series which sees a couple try to split their 1960s bungalow in two – one half for them and the other for his mammy. It’s good to have you back, Dermot. #RoomtoImprove
6 Nations: Highlights (RTÉ 2, 11pm)
A big day for Ireland as they begin their campaign in Dublin against Wales. There’s a good chance the nation will be watching it live at 3pm – but if you’re missing it then the highlights are waiting for you tonight. If Ireland can sneak a win, sure you may as well watch the highlights again to bathe in the glory. #6Nations
Up in the Air (RTÉ 2, 9pm)
A high class movie for a relaxing Sunday evening. George Clooney and Anna Kendrick are superb as they jet around the country firing people in the most efficient way possible. There’s a reason it was nominated for so many Oscars. #UpintheAir
Everybody’s talking about… the mortifying opening moment at the Republican Presidential debate last night
Where the announcers made an absolute hames of the introductions:

One of the most cringe TV moments of 2016.
When Ben Carson blew his chance to enter the stage, it screwed up the whole order of things.
It was like an episode of Veep
Awkward
