What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The People v OJ Simpson: American Crime Story (BBC Two, 9pm)

The third episode of the excellent, star-studded series continues on BBC Two tonight. After the famous car chase seen around the world, OJ starts putting together his “Dream Team” of defence lawyers to handle the trial of the century. The tabloid stories also start to take their toll on both sides. A cracking watch. #ThePeoplevOJSimpson

The 88th Academy Awards (RTÉ 2, 9pm)

It’s all anyone can talk about today. And if you’re the type of person that cherishes sleep over award shows, chances are you didn’t watch the whole thing through live overnight. But don’t fear because RTÉ are showing extended highlights tonight to take it all in as it happened. #Oscars

Adam and Paul (RTÉ2, 11pm)

Lenny Abrahamson’s first film about two childhood friends growing up in Dublin that’s a cult classic at this stage. He might have lost out on the Oscar last night, but it’s been a phenomenal year for the Irish director – and this is where it all started. #AdamandPaul

  • King of the Travellers (TV3, 9pm) John Connors leads the cast, and Fran from Love/Hate makes an appearance in this 2012 drama.
  • Against the Head (RTÉ 2, 7pm) Watch Ireland lose to England in the rugby again – because we’re gluttons for punishment/analysis
  • Fire in the Blood: The Revivalists (RTÉ One 8.30pm) Another promising-looking historical doc from RTÉ
